User Management
Administrator Access
This section is reserved for users with the Admin role.
User List
Access user management from admin settings.
Displayed Information

Create a User
- Click Add User
- Fill in the form:
- Full name
- Email (unique)
- Temporary password
- Role
- Click Create
Initial Password
The user must change their password on first login.
Available Roles
Viewer (Reader)
- View the dashboard
- View declarations
- View alerts (without action)
- View importers
Use case: Staff in training, external auditors.
Analyst
- All Viewer permissions
- Import declarations
- Investigate alerts
- Resolve/Reject alerts
Use case: Customs agents, risk analysts.
Admin (Administrator)
- All Analyst permissions
- Manage users
- Configure the system
- View audit logs
Use case: Managers, IT team.
Modify a User
- Click on the user
- Modify the desired fields
- Click Save
Editable Fields
- Full name
- Role
- Status (Active/Inactive)
Non-Editable Fields
- Email (unique identifier)
Reset a Password
- Select the user
- Click Reset password
- A new temporary password is generated
- Communicate it to the user
Deactivate a User
If a user needs to lose access:
- Select the user
- Change the status to Inactive
- The user will no longer be able to log in
Data Retention
User actions remain in logs even after deactivation.
Best Practices
Principle of Least Privilege
- Assign the minimum necessary role
- Regularly review access
Shared Accounts
- Forbidden: each user must have their own account
- Allows traceability of actions
Employee Departures
- Immediately deactivate accounts
- Do not delete (log retention)
